Unsubscribe & Opt-Out
Last updated July 3, 2026
Crane is a business-to-business outreach platform used by our customers to contact prospective buyers. If you received a message and no longer want to hear from the sender, here is exactly how opting out works — and how Crane makes sure your request is honored.
How to unsubscribe
Every message sent through Crane includes a clearly visible unsubscribe link in its footer. To stop receiving messages from that sender, open the most recent message and click that link. Your request is recorded immediately — you do not need an account, and there is nothing to confirm.
Note: the actual opt-out is processed on a secure, one-time link that is unique to each message (for example, crane.app/unsubscribe?token=…). This information page cannot unsubscribe you on its own — please use the link in the email you received so we can match it to the right sender and recipient.
What happens when you opt out
- Your address is added to the sender’s suppression list right away.
- Any scheduled messages to you from that sender are stopped.
- You will not be contacted again by that sender through Crane, in line with the CAN-SPAM Act’s requirement to honor opt-outs promptly.
- Bounced and complained-about addresses are also suppressed automatically to protect recipients.
Your rights under CAN-SPAM and privacy law
U.S. law (the CAN-SPAM Act) requires commercial email to include a valid physical postal address and a working opt-out mechanism, and to honor opt-out requests within ten business days. Crane is built to meet these requirements on every send. If you are in a region covered by the GDPR or similar laws, you may also have rights to access or erase your personal data — see our Privacy Policy.
Still getting messages?
If you unsubscribed but continue to receive messages, or you cannot find the unsubscribe link, contact us at privacy@crane.app with the sender’s name and the address that was contacted, and we will make sure the opt-out is applied.
